The raised back has an inset foxed mirror and decorative turned spindle supports with Acanthus leaf design to the top and bottom..
The cabernet doors have Original Diamond brass grilles with rose joints over the pleated silk panels. Retaining the original lock and key.
The stamped 19 Marylebone Street. ST James's, London address to the inside of the door narrows down the date to between 1843 and 1854.
