An early 19th century tub back library armchair. Raised on square tapered legs with brass casters. The rear back legs joined by a curved stretcher and both front legs have a bracket presumably for a now absent reading stand. English c1830.
Structurally in good order and it would benefit from upholstery however it is usable as is.
